DOUGLAS GARDENS

Maxi: XXI | Tote: Zara | Sandals: Old Navy

I KNOW, I KNOW - I HAVE BEEN MIA
This past week I have been feeling under the weather; feeling a lot better now that I was put on Antibiotics. Yesterday I was able to go thrift shopping with my dearest of friends to get some looks & props - To get ready for the photo shoot we have to do this coming weekend. I am so excited to see the outcome of it; This will be the first shoot we are both styling & taking charge of - It should be a fun experience.

 Bon voyage
The last night of the cruise was bitter sweet! We were just reminiscing on our incredible weekend and all the memorable moments we all shared. My best friends honey actually entered 2 casino tournaments on the cruise & won them both! It was quite an amazing weekend and a great way to end our trip with 2 wins. We ended our beautiful weekend with some champagne and a toast! (To an amazing weekend & many more to come)

Second day of our yummy mini vacay was to the NCL private island of GREAT STIRRUP CAY.Saturday I woke up early with my honey and had a sit down breakfast in the ship dining room before heading down to the private island. We all enjoyed it to the fullest; the water was crystal clear & the ship did a buffet style BBQ on the island. I cannot say enough that my experience this weekend was out of this world, NCL has amazing service & amazing dining.

LETS TRAVEL THE WORLD

BONJOUR
Catching up from my "Carry On Bag Post" ... i spent this past weekend in PANAMA
Kenneth & I went to visit his parents which moved over there a few months ago, this was my second visit so i was much more comfortable this time around. We left Miami at 8am the morning after the heat won the NBA FINALS so we were both running on NO SLEEP.

His parents live in San Francisco, Panama which is considered the chic/downtown area over there. This trip his parents were able to us take us on a 3 hour ride to an inactive volcano which was a once in a lifetime experience! It was about a 2 hour drive and then about 45 minutes whirling around the inactive volcano; which the area is called - "El Valle de Anton" . We stopped by the "Mercado Municipal" which is a market place there, they had lots of fresh produce and shop areas. We also did a walk through of a rain forest located on the inactive volcano; as well as a spring pool meant for heeling.

From the market place I was able buy a volcanic ash mask for $2 ($40 here in the states) which I was able to bring back with me! I did the mask once while in Panama and tonight as well, I will be doing a post about it fairly soon but I just want to let everyone know it is worth every penny, even if I have to pay $40 here. My acne scars faded with just one use!
